Privacy Policy

What stays in your browser

Your portfolio holdings and price alerts are stored in your own browser's local storage. They are not uploaded to us, and we cannot read them. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently — we hold no copy to restore.

What we store

• Subscription records. If you subscribe to Pro, we store the email address and subscription status returned by Stripe so we know which account has access.
• Rate limiting. To stop abuse of the AI analysis features, we count requests against your IP address or email for the current day.
• Aggregate counts. Number of visits and AI queries, kept as totals rather than as per-person history.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We receive only the subscription status and the email address attached to it. Stripe processes that data under its own privacy policy.

Third parties that receive data

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription status.
• OpenAI — when you request an AI analysis or briefing, the market data and your query are sent to OpenAI to generate the response.
• Vercel — hosting. Standard server request logs apply.

Market data is fetched by our servers from CoinGecko and alternative.me. Your browser does not contact them directly, so they do not receive your IP address.

Your requests

To ask what we hold about you, or to have your subscription record deleted, email privacy@cryptoflowcheck.com. Deleting a subscription record ends Pro access.
